The Resources, Energy & Utilities Solutions Consulting practice creates industry specialized offerings that combine domain, process and operations management expertise with globally delivered technology architecture, infrastructure and process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions. Responsibilities will include end-to-end program management of business solutions for clients from needs analysis and strategy development, through design to implementation of new systems and processes.

·Demonstrate a solid awareness of energy industry issues, in understanding of the client’s business needs, proposing high-level initiatives, bringing the right skills to bear and in driving successful results.

·Define the program mission and effectively communicate the same to stakeholders.

·Conduct the discovery phase of the program.

·Prepare the scope, schedule, budget, SLA’s, program risk management strategies, etc. to kickoff and effectively manage client engagements.

·Work breakdown/resource deployment, management and control

·Effectively use life cycle methodologies to manage the project.

·Program tracking and control, relating the different tracks of the program to one another.

·Manage the scope and client expectations effectively to get expected financial results with solid quality deliverables and end results.

·Sales support and presentations of value propositions to customers.

·Effective management of project milestones and deliverables as well as internal invoicing, management of accounts receivable, performance appraisals, etc.

·Complaints resolution and proactive mitigation off risks.

·Participate in key steering committees and other strategy meetings to help the client proactively manage program risks and maintain a high level of predictability with results.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

·Minimum 5 years of consulting experience for the energy (oil and gas) industry.

·Proven successful management of large consulting and technology integration projects in the energy industry, with a good working knowledge of upstream and downstream energy functions.

·Sound inter-personal skills, ability to anticipate and manage change, and to work with diverse clients and third-party suppliers in a collaborative fashion in meeting client and company objectives.

·Strong client-facing skills (at executive, middle management and professional levels) and ability to relate to both IT and business executives, while managing client expectations.

·Proven capabilities of managing large, complex, global teams with quality, on-time and on-budget results.

·Ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in staffing, mentoring and creating highly motivated and effective teams.

·Experience in defining and meeting key SLA’s with clients.

·Entrepreneurial skills in growing small start-up consulting or systems analysis engagements into larger development and implementation projects involving diverse teams.

·Candidates must have a consulting mindset and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to create & deliver powerful & concise presentations/proposals

·In-depth implementation experience in at least two of the following areas – ERP implementations, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Trading and Risk Management, Electronic Content Management, Real Time Production Monitoring.

·An advanced degree or MBA is preferred. University degree required.

·Certification in Program Management (e.g. Project Management Professional) is preferred.

·Flexibility to international travel is necessary, with the ability to manage teams across multiple time zones.

COMPENSATION: Base salary + bonus
