Senior Consultant [Multi-Channel Architect]

Relocation: NoBearingPoint seeks an exceptionally experienced multi-channel architect whose technical savvy includes retail and fulfillment experiences to help architect, design, create, and deploy retail solutions (including eCommerce web sites, POS systems, WFM solutions, etc.) and expand upon legacy ones for large retail companies. The successful candidate will have a broad range of experience in eCommerce and fulfillment applications, web and application products, POS and/or workforce management technologies and tools, and Microsoft or Java-centric development technologies and philosophies.Position Requirements:

Strong order/fulfillment plus ATG/IBM WebSphere commerce application skills
Â
3+ years experience in order fulfillment planning and execution
Â
5+ years of relevant hands-on experience with order management and fulfillment applications such as HighJump, Oracle, SAP, and/or Yantra
Â
Extensive architecture experience in architecting integration layers between multi-tier web applications & customer order management/fulfillment systems
Â
Strong Commerce suite skills
Â
5+ years of structured programming experience with software development tools such as Java, JSP, Eclipse, C++, Visual Studio .NET, etc.
Â
4+ years of relevant hands-on work experience with application servers such as IBM WebSphere, Microsoft, or BEA WebLogic
Â
A demonstrated proficiency in JSP and J2EE or Microsoft .NET technologies
Â
Extensive design and development experience with Java and related web skills are required, as is experience in developing multi-tier web applications
Â
Ability to easily produce specifications for development
Â
Object-oriented design skills with UML experience, along with XML expertise
Â
Excellent understanding of eCommerce and Fulfillment technologies and architecture as well as direct eCommerce site experience (defined as a site that sold products for which a credit card was processed over the Internet and had a physical product delivered to a customer), coupled with knowledge and/or experience in deploying POS or workforce management systems
Â
Ability to share architecture, development, and other soft skills with other team members to help mentor less experienced programmers
Â
Demonstrates ability to be a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at business and technical levels
