Our Healthcare IT Consultants are highly motivated individuals who assist physician and hospital clients in systems strategic planning, system selection, systems integration, and implementation of applications by leading healthcare IT vendors.

We are currently seeking Senior Consultants and Managers for our Washington, DC office. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for project activities such as:

Assisting clients in identifying system functional and technical requirements.Developing recommendations regarding the strategic use of technology.Analyzing vendor product offerings and/or making recommendations on various modules.Evaluating technology costs and impacts to the organization, including capital and operating.Assisting clients in implementing new processes and redefining workflow in a way that supports their IT strategic plan.Evaluate current state operations and process flow and help clients determine future state.

As a Manager, you will be increasingly responsible for managing consulting engagements and developing new business while continuing to have day-to-day client contact and lead roles on engagements. Managers are expected to have prior experience leading project engagements and work independently with minimal supervision, but will always have support from a Project Officer.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful Senior Consultant candidate will have the following characteristics:
Commitment to providing the highest client services possible.2-3 years experience in support of hospital or physician practice information systems and technologies.EMR/EHR, PM, ADT, HIS/CIS and PACS experience are highly desirable.2-3 years prior consulting experience with a healthcare IT consulting firm is preferred.A bachelor’s degree is required.A relevant advanced degree (MIS, MBA, or MHA) or certification is preferred.Strong understanding of healthcare operations to facilitate operations improvement. Depth in a particular area, such as: clinical operations, revenue cycle, or EMR’s is preferred.Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel at least 50% and ability to relocate to the Washington, DC metro area.

Only candidates with more than 5 years of healthcare IT experience or 3 or more years of relevant consulting experience will be considered for Manager positions.
