throughout the enterprise. With core competencies encompassing capital markets, control assurance, internal audit, regulatory consulting, and security services, our ERS professionals offer a wealth of experience across a wide spectrum of industries. 
 
The primary focus of Control Assurance is the assessment and improvement of internal control policies and procedures within business process and information technology environments. These services may come as part of an internal audit, audit of financial statements, or as individual projects resulting from major organizational changes, implementation of new technologies, or reliance on third-party service providers. Our audit approach recognizes the importance of information systems in achieving effective internal control in larger and more in complex organizations. An assessment of key internal controls is tightly integrated into audit plans wherever efficient and appropriate. Management of service organizations frequently wants an independent study
and evaluation of controls for consideration by users of those services. Typically, these reviews result in service auditor reports consistent with Statements on Audit Standards
- 3+ years experience in information systems audit and assurance
- 3+ years control implementation experience in SAP, PeopleSoft, and/or Oracle experience
- Strong background in the following:
- Controls re-engineering
- Application security implementation 
- Distributed system administration and recovery
- Database administration
- Security auditing techniques
- Computer control environments
- EDP control implementation in medium to large computer environments
- Operating systems
- Access control software
- Telecommunications
- Ability to play a lead role in designated tasks of the project team in gathering, organizing and analyzing data
- Open to travel
requirements 
- BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Information Systems
- Experience with Sarbanes Oxley 404 internal control attest and readiness requirements
- CISA, CISSP, CIA and/or Packaged Application Certification preferred

- Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
- Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty
- Assume responsibility for small components of engagements.  May have greater role on small engagements
- Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/workplan
- Deliver services that meet D&T task leader specifications
- Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to client
