Senior Client Advisor - FINPRO - Marsh - New York, NY

Overview



The jobholder will be responsible for the overall high quality and timely delivery of core contracted services to a Major International Professional Services Firm. In addition responsibility for the development and coordination of efforts to expand service through additional consulting commissions. Further there is responsibility to manage other ancillary placements for the Firm.



The client is one of FINPRO and MMC's premier clients. The jobholder must have the ability to work at the highest levels within major clients.



Core Responsibilities:



Maintain relationships with all key client personnel

Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of all core services contracted by the client in the core service specification

Manage the internal delivery of services by other MMC units.

Provide intellectual and knowledge leadership in the delivery and development of actuarial services and underwriting analyses for the Bermuda, Dublin and Vermont captives.

Provide the client with thought development on results of annual and mid term reviews

Attend board meetings of Bermuda and Vermont captives

Responding to queries from the client.

Assistance and guidance with ad hoc claims issues

Continually seek to design and develop insurance/alternative solutions to issues raised by the development of the captives underwriting results and future needs.

Develop and maintain market relationships with key underwriters in this class.

Manage other placement areas for the client

Lead internal and external outstanding meetings

Manage workflow of team in London and New York

Contribute to the thought content that will be delivered to the client through various aspects of the core service delivery and additional consulting projects.

Manage cost estimation and cost management of projects and core services.

Continually seek ways to develop and expand the service to the client worldwide.
REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications and Experience:



Broad insurance experience

Strong numerical and spreadsheet skills. Accounting knowledge would be preferable.

BA. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience dealing with high level individuals i.e. Board level.

Strong presentation and written skills.

Organized and able to marshal and manage resources in different areas and countries to deliver service to the client.
