Senior Chemist
ASP is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Senior Chemist.

Position Summary:
The Senior Chemist will be responsible for providing technical support through product recommendations, product applications, and troubleshooting to sales representatives, customers, vendors and other persons both external and internal to the company primarily via phone and in the field. This position will provide leadership, consultation, and training to the Chemist position. This position will champion one or more product lines providing in depth support to the Core line and Special Business Units. Duties also include giving presentations to sales reps and customers on product application, writing labels and product specification reports for new products.
Essential Job Functions And Accountabilities:
> Provide product recommendations, applications, and troubleshooting via phone.
> Provide sales rep and customer training including creation and delivery of presentations
> Field support for sales reps and customers in the form of account surveys, training exercises, and troubleshooting of product usage and application.
> Writing of labels, PSRs, and product review.
> Bench projects, in-house evaluation of product performance and application.
REQUIREMENTS
Skill Requirements:
> Wet chemistry skills. Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
> Good analytical and trouble shooting skills.
> Technical knowledge of application equipment.
> Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
> Good communication skills both written and oral. Good presentation and training skills.
Educational Qualifications And Experience:
> A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Chemistry or equivalent.
> 3-5 years experience in the field of Industrial & Institutional chemistry.
