BCD Travel is a fast growing, corporate travel management company looking for qualified individuals. The following full time opportunity is available in Lisle, IL.

SUPERVISOR, OPERATIONS- CORPORATE TRAVEL INDUSTRY

Supervises a team of employees at a corporate travel onsite by providing excellent client and employee support and exhibiting leadership in the areas of problem resolution, customer service, technology knowledge, and process / policy adherence. Responsible for hiring, terminations, payroll, employee counseling/corrective action, and writing and delivering performance evaluations.
REQUIREMENTS
Duties and responsibilities may include:
•Acts as the point person for the daily operations of assigned employees and accounts.
•Responsible for providing proper staffing levels to meet or exceed contracted service levels.
•Supervises the daily performance of direct reports, ensuring high levels of quality, productivity, customer service, and the meeting / exceeding of contractual obligations.
•Works closely with manager and client in developing department communication.
•Assists in recruiting and interviewing employees to fill open requisitions.
•Maintains and promotes professional and courteous client relations by identifying and promptly responding to all questions relating to the business.
•Assures timely maintenance of client profiles / information and online booking tool - Cliqbook.
•Tracks customer feedback. Take action as appropriate.
•Completes specified reporting.
•Assumes office management responsibilities when required.
•Maintain client / vendor contractual information up to date, work with BCD Travel technology systems to maintain current.
•Monitor team’s preferred vendor agreements for air, car, and hotel. Provides coaching and training as necessary to reach targets.
•Work with manager to determine goals and measurement tools for the team.

Qualified candidates must have a thorough knowledge of travel industry and operations including at least 4 years of current experience in a travel supervisory/lead role with proficiency in Apollo GDS. Must have excellent communication skills including experience with public speaking and presentations. Must have a professional manner and appearance. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required and PowerPoint proficiency a plus.
