Overview
Interview, screen and evaluate inmates for program participation. Provide individual or facilitate group counseling and assist inmates in developing an ongoing plan of treatment and recovery, problem identification, resolution and decision making. Some evening hours may be required. Signing bonus and moving stipend available.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services field is preferred
Licensed or licensure eligible as a substance abuse counselor by the State of Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division
2 years of supervised experience delivering substance abuse treatment
Successful completion of the Colorado Department of Corrections Basic Training Academy
Experience with corrections populations is preferred
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
