9-12 month contract – rate is flexibleThe SAP Andover implementation team seeks a procurement/logistics position responsible for the execution and ongoing maintenance of procurement processes related to materials, components, supplies and services in both domestic and International markets.
The SAP Procurement specialist will be responsible for assisting the client in executing the business transactions associated with 3rd party Sub-contracting procurement activities.
REQUIREMENTS
This individual must have at least 5 years experience with purchasing 3rd party sub-contracting.They must have led site blue printing activities and be able to define solutions.They must be experts in design and configuration of SAP purchasing functionality.
Specific areas of SAP MM Procurement desired are:1. Third Party Subcontracting: Subcontracting of goods and services. Must possess deep knowledge of Purchasing master data and configuration that supports SAP's 'subcontracting functionality
2. Import/Export - Solid knowledge of Import/Export data and configuration that supports standard Purchasing and subcontract procurement processes in SAP
3. Master Data: Must have extensive understanding of SAP Master Data in support of Procurement functions (Material Master, Source Lists and Info Records)
4. Integration: Must understand MM integration points with PP-PI and WM and Finance5. Configuration: Must be capable of performing all MM Procurement-related configuration activities.6. Training: Potentially, delivering training to the client in MM procurement module, with a focus on subcontracting may be required.Successful candidates will also possess the following:
At least two full life cycle implementations.Minimum of 4 years functional configuration experience in MM Procurement
Strong skills with 3rd party sub-contracting arrangements
Knowledge of Sales and Distribution (SD) integration points that support 3rd party subcontracting
