Job Title: SAP Process Expert Advisor (SD)
Department: Information Systems

Basic Function:

To provide process and configuration expertise for the ERP applications and other business systems by implementing, integrating and supporting business requirements which meet global and regional company objectives.

Principal Responsibilities:

Design, validate, configure, test and implement solutions to meet business requirements.
Prepare specifications for the application development team.
Provide business process and functional expertise, within their domain and integration with other domains.
Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT/IS departments to ensure successful implentation and support of project efforts.
Coordinate with Business ‘Power/Key Users’ the prioritization of the business requirements.
Train Power Users/Business Support team on new functionality.
Work with Business Support team in resolving escalated tickets.
Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
Act as facilitators in process improvements meeting across the business lines.
Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT/IS colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
Broker regional requests with the global competency center to ensure optimal solution is delivered.
Coordinate changes to the operational system with the other members of the Global competency center and respect process & procedures set by Competency Center management.
Keep up to date on changes to the system and new functionality. Network within the user groups to influence development, be educated on new products, and gain understanding of how other customers are implementing solutions within their business.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree, or equivalent work experience and technical training.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years IT/IS experience including 2 to 3 years application systems project management in a large heterogeneous systems environment. Oil and Gas Industry experience and knowledge of French are a plus.
SAP certifications are a plus
Comprehensive understanding of SAP’s customizing toolset, including IMG. SAP configuration skills in one or more modules. Solid understanding of SAP data model in one or more functional area. Thorough business understanding in one or more functional areas as well as the understanding of Petrochemical industry. Excellent project management skills. Familiarity with SAP architecture. Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Customer service oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms; ability to multi-task, work well with others.
Open to travel including international. 7X24 availability as required.
Expertise with SAP Module - Sales and Distribution (SD).
7+ years experience and configuration on a full implementation (should include sales pricing, consignment, and inter-company).
Logistic execution IS Oil downstream, CRM and experience with Business Warehouse (BW) a plus.
