SAP PP/PI Senior Consultant

BearingPoint has an opportunity for a SAP PP/PI Senior ConsultantPosition Description and Responsibilities:Understand business processes specific to the various SAP modules or other applications (e.g. Catalyst)
Understand the functionality supporting Working with the Power Users at the site, serve as a first line-support in resolving issues. This includes providing 24x7 coverage.
Once an issue has been identified, perform assessment of the situation, recommend a course of action, work with the escalation partners to resolve the issue, and monitor the situation after it is resolved.
Understand the escalation process for issues
Provide daily updates of issues to the local implementation team
Perform knowledge transfer of the new business processes to site
Act as the liaison between the site and the Center of Excellence
Assist in the training of the site on the new business processes
Develop an understanding of stabilization metrics.
Assist in the collection of stabilization metricsRequired Skills and Experience:Candidate must have 4-5 years of experience (or training), with SAP Applications and SAP Tools, in one or more product modules, version 4.0 or higher. Other ERP package experience will be considered.
Candidate must have strong oral and written English communication skills.
Client-facing experience required.
Requires experience in PP and PI modules
