Job Description

The SAP MM Configuration Consultant in the US Delivery Centre is responsible for the analysis, design and configuration of the SAP MM area to meet the business needs of our clients. Working closely with our clients to deliver, maintain and troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, the MM Configuration Consultant adds value to the US Delivery Centre through their knowledge of the MM module and knowledge of its integration with other modules.

Key responsibilities may include
•Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the MM module of SAP to meets business requirements.
•Understands the business processes and how the application supports the business processes and applies this knowledge to best solve problems.
•Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and designs and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge
•Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering and documentation designs.
•Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.
•Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.
•May lead and coordinate the work of a small team
•Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing
•Understands and applies Accenture methodologies and procedures.
•Develops relationships within Accenture to leverage firm assets.

Education:

Four year college degree or equivalent

Experience:

8 years experience in SAP Materials Management configuration
3 years Project Management or work scheduling experience
