To coordinate development of GBIP custom applications (ABAP, web-based, interfaces, etc) where the COTS product does not meet business need, using systems analysis and design techniques and the Application Development Lifecycle.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities are in 3 phases of our application development life cycle:
1: Requirements Gathering and Design
Â
Work with assessment tools and business teams to manage scope of technical upgrade.
Â
Work with business teams to create, review, and approve new and updated business requirements documents
2: Development and Testing
Â
Facilitate communication and enforce standards between developers and business teams during development, unit testing, and code reviews.
Â
Diagnose defects during testing (unit and informal/formal integration) and coordinate their timely repair, including documentation and code re-reviews
Â
Maintain accountability for managing relationships between AppDev and business teams.
Â
Maintain accountability for managing relationships between AppDev and other vertical teams.
Â
Provide metrics/status updates for areas of accountability, to ensure timely completion of development modifications.
3: Cutover Support/Go-Live Stabilization and Production Support
Â
Diagnose trouble tickets/change requests coordinate their timely repair, including documentation and code re-reviews
Â
Through Knowledge Transfer, ensure Production Support resources and other team members are adequately prepared to support new applications in future
Â
Provide technical direction to Production Support resources in production problem resolutionMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bacelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in an object-oriented ERP system
Technical (some or all of the following technologies):
Â
ABAP/Interface: ABAP/4, IDoc, ALE, EDI
Â
Web: HTML, ColdFusion, Java, Javascript, Java Server Pages, SQL, Business Server PagesLocation: Indianapolis, Indiana
