- IT Strategy & ManagementConsultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.  Responsibilities include, among others, performing current state analysis, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.  Consultants develop exposure and familiarity with multiple industries while achieving task and skill competence in the tool sets and services of the practices within the firm. Consultants will assist in proposal development, as requested.
 
Specific Technical Skills Required:
 
- Qualified candidates must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of SAP R/3 implementation and development experience (version 4.5 and higher) involving at least two end-to-end SAP implementations
-
Experience in writing new and modifying existing ABAP reports, user exits, BADIs and dialogue programming
- Experience with defining and coding conversions and interfaces using LSMW, BAPI, IDOC, BDC, and call transaction update methods
- Experience in trouble shooting, performance tuning, writing technical specifications from functional design specifications
- Experience in executing and writing technical test script documentation
- Ability to search and apply OSS notes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Other key qualifications include:
- Experience with other programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, XML, HTML and UNIX Shell
- Experience with middleware tools such as Microsoft Biztalk, Mercator and WMQI
- Experience in SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PS is beneficial
- Post-implementation support experience
- Bachelor's Degree with additional business certification is highly
preferred
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple clients and multiple tasks with confidence
- Ability to develop project estimates and work plans
- Ability to complete tasks within budget and timelines
- Ability to follow development processes, standards, and guidelines
- Knowledge or experience with CMM is beneficial
- NetWeaver and/or SEM experience is beneficial
