Business IT Strategy Initiative:  Supports the CIO Services Service Line and provides services and tools for leading and managing Information Technology investments and operations. Services include IT strategy and planning; IT value improvement including budget/spend assessments, investment portfolio management, and IT cost containment;  IT management improvement including IT performance evaluation, process design, organization design, sourcing IT services and products, IT performance measures and metrics; business IT governance assessments and design; and IT mergers/acquisition assessments and integration planning. BITS also provides a direct link to the firm's Corporate Strategy offeringsConsultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.  Responsibilities include, among others, performing
current state analysis, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.  Consultants develop exposure and familiarity with multiple industries while achieving task and skill competence in the tool sets and services of the practices within the firm.
