Retail Sales Consultant, PT, Gurnee Mills Mall

Purpose:
Position: Retail Sales Consultant (gurnee Mills Mall, Gurnee, IL)
Position Responsibilities:
?Provides a consistently excellent customer service experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy, confidentiality and professionalism.
?Capitalizes on mall traffic to generate new customer business at the kiosk location.
?Assists customers in gaining value through education of Cingular products and services through product demonstrations.
?Generates and follows-up on leads to increase customer traffic at the kiosk.
?Meets sales objectives for wireless phones, services, and accessories.
?Handles all administrative aspects of the sale including: completing customer contracts and warranties, pulling products from inventory, accepting customer payments and filing the completed orders.
?Maintains strong knowledge of new wireless products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features.
?Maintains knowledge of competitive offers and provides critical market feedback to the Kiosk Manager regarding local competition and product/service needs.
?Maintains awareness of mall events and additional sales opportunities.
?Handles service inquiries from customers.
?Maintains kiosk appearance to properly showcase phones, data devices, accessories, and wireless services.
?Responsible for kiosk opening and closing procedures.
?May work in other kiosks locations as business needs dictate.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:

?A high school diploma or equivalent
?Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

?1-3 years of outside sales experience and/or previous mall retail sales experience.
?1-3 years of retail sales experience with key holder/cash handling responsibilities is preferred.
?The ability to be assertive and professional in attracting passive/non-intender customers.
?The ability to act independently and multi-task in a fast paced mall environment
?Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
?Computer proficiency.
