Retail Program Coordinator
Retail Program CoordinatorGreat opportunity for a self-driven entrepreneurial person. This position offers direct exposure to senior level management, involvement in projects ranging from strategic to tactical and the opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients.The primary responsibility is to work on-site for a grocery retail account team and coordinate all aspects of the program. This includes coordinating critical sales activities and projects with the Retail Program Manager, upper-level grocery retail department directors, category managers and suppliers. Primary tasks and skills include, but are not limited to:Coordinate Perishables Group retailer partner programs service offerings that include Category Management, Auditing, Consumer Research and FreshFacts® On-Line Software.Provide day-to-day client support of perishable category management related activities including ad-hoc data requests and deliveries, monthly report delivery, data analysis, monitor data quality, and contribute to ongoing quality control process.Work closely with perishable category management staff to assist them in the category business plan development process - creation of plan, analysis of data, key value-added insights and execution.Analyze scanner and other data as well as process reports to provide efficient information,key insights, recommendations, and analytical support.Coordinate all aspects of program execution activities, e.g., production, account management, software installations, analytical plan development, retail execution, retail status, etc.Support Perishables Group's retail/wholesale program sales and marketing efforts, e.g., identifying and prioritizing targets with Retail Program Manager. Assisting in presentation development of Perishables Group capabilities.Train external retail/supplier personnel and analysts who work primarily with our retail program services.Maintain a status report for program manager to ensure priorities are being set properly.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree required.3-5 years professional experience.Project management, sales, and/or marketing experience.Strong leadership skills, e.g., ability to effectively lead a project team, organize and motivate others to work on common goals.Excellent retail account management skills.Sound analytical, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills including presentation and writing aptitude.Effective time management skills, including working on multiple projects, simultaneously.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Perishables experience a plus.
