Residential Manager and Rehabilitation Counselors

We presently have an immediate need for a Residential Manager and Rehabilitation Counselors for our new program serving adolescents in a residential setting, which will be located in Roxborough.

Residential Manager will oversee and monitor the daily operations of a 24-hour staffed residential program for adolescents with cognitive limitations and mental illness and will supervise four to seven Rehabilitation Counselors. This individual will implement specific interventions in the home, school or community settings as outlined in the treatment plan.

Rehabilitation Counselors will provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to an adolescent with cognitive limitations, history of challenging behaviors and mental illness. Rehabilitation Counselors are responsible for providing services at home, school, day care, or community settings, which include rehabilitative activities as prescribed in the treatment plan, crisis intervention, medication administration, and progress documentation. FT and PT positions available.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS

Manager
·B.A./B.S. degree in the social sciences, healthcare or related field required.
·At least 3-4 years experience working directly with children or adolescents, preferably in residential or other services to children with MH/MR.
·2-3 years supervisory experience.

Rehabilitation Counselors
·BA/BS degree in the social sciences, healthcare or related field and at least 1-year experience working directly with children; or an Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits in social sciences, healthcare or related field and 3 years experience working directly with children.
·Experience in residential or other services to children with MH/MR preferred.
