Researcher/Sourcer/Recruiter

Position:

We wish to attract an outstanding, highly driven, highly motivated individual to join our recruiting team as a Researcher/Sourcer/Recruiter. This person will partner with recruiters to provide strong support in areas of candidate identification, generation, and development, and this includes:Proactively researching and identifying top-level talent in support of company core functions through candidate name identification.
Maintaining the company Research Database by tracking research information and contacts.
Partnering with recruiters to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process.
Identifying, qualifying and forwarding viable candidates to recruiters.
Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies.
Staying current with industry trends, developments and changes.
Acting as a search expert for functional areas by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements.Responsibilities include:Strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex Internet searches and research, and name generation.
Drive development of competitive target lists and search strategy.
Build functional expertise and become effective business partner with recruiters.
Act as a pioneer of recruiting research and continue to improve / broaden resources.
May attend initial hiring manager meeting with recruiter to understand scope of recruitment.
Attend job fairs and participate in college recruiting, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences or field requiring strong research capabilities.
Demonstrated strong Internet search and research skills to find active and passive candidates, ideally 1-2+ years experience.
Ideally 1-2+ years experience sourcing/ "cold-calling"/networking via the phone.
Be a self-starter, highly motivated and possess strong follow-up skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have strong organizational, time management and project management skills and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
