Recruitment & Staffing Consultant

Our company is growing, and we’re looking for a team player to join our Hartford office staff. This is a vital role within our company where you’ll interact with clients, candidates and networking organizations throughout Connecticut. Interviewing candidates, matching them with open positions at client companies, visiting client and prospect locations and working with the Operations Manager to grow our business and provide our clients with exceptional service. Qualified candidates will have at least one year experience in the staffing and/or recruiting industry, a ‘can do’ attitude, top-notch communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
1. Responsible for providing staffing services to satisfy our existing customers’ recruiting and personnel needs.2. Responsible for exercising discretion and good judgment while recruiting candidates for customers.
3. Interviewing, evaluation, hiring and termination of contract personnel.
4. Negotiation of wage and salary rates with candidates.
5. Marketing positions to candidates, and submitting selected candidates to clients.
6. Will be responsible for visiting with clients, end users and candidates face to face.7. Will attend job fairs, networking events and perform heavy telephone work.
