L & J Associates is a boutique executive search firm specializing in the recruitment and placement of division and corporate level executives for Fortune 500 manufacturing companies across North America. Our business is growing and we are looking to expand our firm. L&J utilizes a highly skilled-in house research team to find outstanding executives with the skills and experience required to meet specific client needs.

The Recruiting and Research Assistant will be responsible for:
Executing search assignments by identifying, sourcing, and screening qualified candidates consistent with the criteria of the position specification.
Working with partners to develop and refine the search strategy.
Studying company and industry information to be prepared to execute and sell the search to potential candidates.
Identifying and developing target companies, candidates and sources through reference materials and online services, as well as calling target companies to identify individuals.
Telephone screening of potential prospects and sources to determine appropriateness as a candidate or reliable source.
Using passive and direct sourcing techniques such as database mining, Internet searching, associations/organizations, and cold calling.
Managing the overall research function of outside contract researchers.
REQUIREMENTS
College graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience and knowledge are preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right personality.
