Recruiting - Regional Manager

Department: Corporate-HRDealer: CALIFORNIA REGIONJob Description: Reporting into the Director of Recruiting and Staffing, the Regional Recruiting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the PPT Recruiting function for California (e.g., hiring, supervising, training, counseling etc.) for five or more Region Field Recruiters, one or more Region Recruiting Specialists, and provide recruiting direction and leadership.This includes setting recruiting goals and expectations to align with overall recruiting objectives, monitoring performance against goals and managing the recruiting team to those expectations. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing regional recruiting methodologies, maintaining advertising budgets, working with the Director of Recruiting and Staffing as well as the California leadership team to ensure store needs are being met and both are working as a cohesive group.Also responsible for providing various reports and assuring the recruiting staff adhere to system requirements. Managing people, some re-motely is a requirement of this position.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the daily operations of the Recruiting staff. Responsible for the full management scope, including interviewing, hiring, training, managing, etc. Evaluates, develops and implements Regional Sourcing strategies to ensure consistency across all markets and implements tactics to accomplish goals. Responsible for monitoring performance / productivity against goals and managing the recruiting staff to those goals. Must readily adapt strategies to adjust to changing market and internal customer conditions. Actively spearhead the weekly activity meeting for Recruiting Specialists. Discuss current and potential issues, recommend or facilitate resolutions, assure the proper recruiting resources are deployed to assure coverage of requirements, etc. Assesses advertising needs and selects appropriate method(s). Utilizes job fairs, university recruitment programs, and other traditional and non-traditional applicant source opportunities to determine which will provide the greatest benefit; provides technical support to Placement Managers related to recruiting activities. Monitors recruiting and expense budget. Prepares management reports as necessary, and assures the integrity, timeliness and maintenance of the recruiting staff's data. Works with all stores to ensure that efforts of the Field/ Corporate PPT and GM's are cohesive. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Prefer prior managerial experience and experience contributing creatively and strategically to national recruiting initiatives. Requires excellent leadership, communication and presentation abilities, as well as analytical and problem solving skills.Required Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in general business management, human resources or other related field preferred. 7 + years experience in recruiting in a corporate environment, preferable with multiple business lines.Compensation: We offer competitive pay, health, dental, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) program, paid vacation, Employee Vehicle Purchase Program, professional working environment, job specific training and fantastic advancement opportunities.
