Summary The Recruiter is responsible for providing world class scouting and staffing services for Echostar. Must have 2 to 3 years of established recruiting experience. This position delivers high quality candidates and advances the Echostar brand across numerous markets and professional association and communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the Echostar selection process. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, agencies, associations and the community at-large. Confers with leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified leads, leverage online recruiting resources and in-house Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify and recruit the very best candidates. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position. Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates. Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required. Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-art responsibilities assigned to this position. Service as member of on boarding team to welcome and follow-up with new hires 30/60/90 days after hire.
job Requirements
B.S. in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline required. Two to four years experience in full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship and relationship management. Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. Strong interviewing skills. Must have solid knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques. Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff. Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Flexible, innovative and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment. Must be able to travel 50% local and 25% regional covering Customer Service Centers in Christiansburg, Va; Pinebrook, NJ; Riverfront, CO; Thornton, CO; Harlingen, TX; Bluefield, WV; McKeesport, PA; and two locations in El Paso, TX.
