Job Description:
As a member of our dynamic and innovative Real Estate Advisory Services executive team, the Senior Manager will develop and manage the provision of advisory services to clients and business development opportunities. The successful candidate will also direct the technical, business, and personnel aspects of advisory services engagements and lead business development efforts as well as apply project management expertise and individual technical/professional knowledge to ensure that work products and project deliverables are of the highest quality. This position will offer the right professional an excellent opportunity for future promotion.Responsibilities Job responsibilities will include project management oversight for construction (including the monitoring of costs, schedules, etc.); process improvement analysis; construction cost audits; and claims. Demonstrate and communicate a thorough understanding of complex real estate concepts. Stay informed of technical issues and E&Y policies, and effectively apply this knowledge to client situations. Collaborate to plan the engagement. Focus on deliverables and prioritize goals. Address staff transitions and shifts in resources. Manage expectations of deliverables and service. Successfully manage to the budget.Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers. Apply extensive knowledge of the client's industry to identify/communicate relevant trends, developments, and key performance drivers. Apply/communicate E&Y's strategic objectives and organizational policies.Develop people. Delegate work effectively. Review work performed by the engagement team. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify for this highly visible position with excellent potential for career advancement, candidates must have: an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering and/or Architecture a minimum 8years of applicable experience with good fundamental design and construction project management experience experience with project controls (scheduling and cost control), project engineering, and/or cost engineering preferred blueprint reading, construction cost estimation, and construction industry work experience required healthcare, biotechnology or telecommunication experience is a plus strong quantitative, written, verbal, and presentation skills demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
