RN Nurse Consultant for Long Term Care - Skilled Nursing

In this exciting consulting position, the experienced SNF DON will mentor, advise and consult to our long-term care skilled nursing facilities throughout Maryland / Washington D.C.

We have been providing quality services for our nation's geriatric population through progressive programs like Resident Centered Care and our award-winning Alzheimer's Care Units throughout the United States for over 40 years. REQUIREMENTS
*Current RN license in the state of Maryland and/or District of Columbia.

*5-10 years of clinical leadership (DON) experience in a long-term care skilled nursing setting with multi-facility consultation and-or management preferred.

*Current knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and other case mix payment systems.

*Understanding of clinical management systems including business systems, budgets and resource management.

*Must have a good working knowledge of the RAI process.

*Competency in current clinical software system.

*Understanding of clinical issues related to patient liability losses and risk management.

*Able and willing to travel extensively and work on-site in facilities.
