RESPONSIBILITIES

FPC of Wilmington’s search consultants develop new and existing clients in high tech biotech and pharmaceutical markets nationwide, while finding and recruiting highly skilled professionals to meet the needs of those clients.

Specific responsibilities include:
Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates for scientific and technical management positions.
Maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients, as well as candidate pool.
Maintaining database of candidate pool.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, based on relevant experience, plus unlimited commissions.

Our standards are high. FPC search consultants must be college degreed (a BS in Life Sciences or related field is preferred).

Prior experience is not required, but to succeed as a recruiter, candidates should:
• have a combination of technical and/or sales and/or recruiting experience/skill/aptitude;
• have a real sales ‘mentality’ -- they are skilled in networking, persuading, and negotiating;
• have strong communication and interpersonal skills – friendly, likable, enthusiastic, positive;
• understand the ‘Art of the Deal’;
• have a relentless drive to achieve high earnings commensurate with personal performance
• be energetic, detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed;
• be able to prioritize, manage their time and handle multiple tasks.
