Excel Developer

Our client is looking for an Excel Developer with strong experience with actuarial formulas and data tables. Qualified candidates should have the following experience:
REQUIREMENTS
Act as the principle designer and developer of complex Excel calculation engine(s).
Responsible for translating complex written mathematical expressions into Excel logic using system supported expressions/formulas.
Will be involved in all phases of development including design, build, defect analysis & resolution and implementation.
Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative, and communication skills, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with business resources and well as IT partners and other consultants.
Requires a (strong) proficiency in Excel formulas and expressions.
Strong communication skills are necessary as candidate will need to effectively communicate status to management as well as work with team to rapidly address design concerns and defect Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
Ability to multitask and work under tight time frames.
Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as under limited supervision.
