QUALITY IMPROVEMENT ADVISOR

Summary

Lumetra is an independent consulting organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, efficiency, and integrity of healthcare.

As part of the quality improvement team, this position serves as a clinical systems improvement consultant to designated healthcare providers in the nursing homes health setting, identifies opportunity and methodology to improve performance and acts as the primary liaison between the customer and Lumetra through all stages of projects and campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participates in the design of the collaborative content, including the framework (charter, change package, mission, and measurement strategy) and all preparatory materials.
• Teaches and coaches teams on process improvement at collaborative learning sessions and during action periods.
• Supports the day-to-day operations of the clinical systems improvement collaboratives and other events.
• Promotes participation in quality & performance improvement collaboratives and initiatives within the CMS-specified home health setting.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with healthcare providers and related groups. Makes presentations to provider groups regarding the quality improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications

• BA degree
• 5 + yrs. clinical experience or relevant provider setting experience.
• Must have computer proficiency utilizing database, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• MS degree and RN licensure is preferred.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification required within two years of employment.
