QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER

A premier publicly traded, online healthcare-content company is experiencing dynamicgrowth. In their search for technically qualified professionals they have an immediateopening for the following: QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTERThe QA TESTER will be responsible for continual testing and troubleshooting of awardwinning Internet products as well as provide support for existing CD-ROM applications.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Design and develop manual testing processes, including reporting issues.
Test software applications and review healthcare content.
Interface with engineers in development and client services to helptroubleshoot defects in software applications.
Participate in identifying, entry and verification of defects.
Prepare and review necessary testing documentation.
Work independently with minimal directionJob Requirements
Primary Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years QA experience.
Minimum 2-3 years experience with Internet and desktop applicationtesting.
Minimum 1 year in Windows based environment using Microsoft Officeproducts.
Associate Degree or better in Computer Science, Engineering, Science orMathematics.
Exceptional hands-on analytical and problem solving skills.
MUST have experience in full development life cycle, strongcommunication skills, enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed.The Ideal Candidate will have the following skill sets and experiences:
Automation testing applications.
Healthcare based software.
Software Configuration Management Tools of StarTeam, PVCS, PerForce,Rational and/or VSS.
Systems Engineering.
