Proposal Writer/Consultant

The Hewitt proposal writer/consultant writes responses to Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and consults with Portfolio Executives (PEs), Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Executives leading the sales efforts for our core services. Core services include our HR Outsourcing Lines of business including Benefits, Workforce Management, and Payroll. The proposal writer/consultant also interacts with sourcing consultants and firm-wide resources.

Responsibilities
A. Assume overall project management for the RFP response process.
B. Write, revise, proofread and transmit proposals in response to RFPs.
C. Develop a practical knowledge of our HR outsourcing services and technology.
D. Maintain a comprehensive library of information regarding our services by interviewing Hewitt subject matter experts.
E. Act as a national resource for firm- wide information supporting sales effort.
F. Consult with Sales Executive and Sales Analyst on sales strategy for each opportunity.
G. Identify trends and engage in process improvement where necessary.

 Excellent people skills for ongoing internal/external client interaction
 Familiarity with electronic communication channels and database usage
 Immediate knowledge of Excel, Word, Pragmatech
 Basic Powerpoint skills

Education & Certifications
 Bachelors degree in General Business is preferred or equivalent work related experience.

Work Experience
 Two to three years professional work experience in a sales environment or three to five years work experience- outside of sales environment.
