Project Test Coordinator

The Project Test Coordinator is responsible for the following main areas of the User Acceptance Testing Phase:
Owns completion of SIT and UAT Test Plans for the projects they are assigned to.
Coordinates the writing, execution and validation of all test scripts needed to satisfy the Test Plans on their projects.
Communicates status and issues around their project’s test effort.
Submits the project’s Test Bed Criteria Request to ITT Tech.
Organizes and facilitates all Test Strategy meetings, Test Plan walkthroughs, and Test Results walkthroughs for their projects.
Facilitates the resolution of defects for their projects, and raises issues around defect resolution which impede the test effort.
Conducts hands-on testing for assigned projects (writing test cases, execution, and validation).

This position requires an individual with:

Bachelor’s Degree.

Good Verbal and written communication skills.

Good Multi-Tasking and organizational skills.

Experience working with multiple software releases or Release Delivery Methodology.

Minimum 2+ years with test planning, execution, and validation.

Experience in owning and leading the functional/UAT test planning and execution efforts for multiple projects.

Experience in involving and coordinating efforts from others who have no direct reporting relationship to you.

Experience with testing on mainframe and/or GUI applications is a plus.

Experience in working with financial services companies, credit card processing a plus.

Individual must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Experience with TestDirector/Quality Center a plus.

Individual must carry a pager and respond to high priority project-related issues.

Individual must be able to occasionally support late afternoon/early evening meetings with project team members in other time zones.

Knowledge of system architecture a plus.
