THOR, Inc. is a project based business solutions firm that assists companies and organizations within the Healthcare industry. Currently, we are searching for a Project Manager. Job Summary: • Follow-up on software projects and bottlenecks. • Work with programmers, system and business analysts for status updates. • Manage EDI projects using HIPAA. • Oversee budget vs. actual numbers that relate to various projects. • Execute operational, finance and IT strategies directed by Management. • Plan, organize any HR, Finance, IT related variables. • Oversee team members’ workflow -What groups/teams need finessing to get back on target. • Track project reports, updates and progress on a weekly basis Qualifications: • Experience with technical implementations, software conversions and running IT projects as well as managing IT development team • Comprehensive experience with online processing systems • Extensive experience with HIPAA data transactions • ANSI x12 837, 270/27, 276/277, 835 • P/L, Finance, Accounting, overall business operations experience • Business acumen (business experience in IT division) • Prior management experience with software/application development • Mainframe and Open Systems background preferred • Proficiency with reporting tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel • Very good analysis and assessment skills • Excellent people and communication skills, from VP's to user level • Good listening and documentation skills • Attention to details Additional Information: Contract-to-Hire position.
