Philip Townsend Associates, Inc., a highly respected international consulting firm, provides premier benchmarking services to leaders in the petrochemical industry.
Our Project Manager - Aromatics will manage all phases of assigned benchmarking projects for our clients engaged in manufacturing/processing benzene or paraxylene products – from defining data requirements and analyzing company and industry specific data, to producing final reports and presentations.
As a valued member of our professional team, you will interface directly with clients to validate data, respond to inquiries, and diplomatically resolve data issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Project ManagerThe successful candidate will have:
1. A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, with an MBA being a strong +.
2. 6+ years experience in the petrochemical industry working with benzene and/or paraxylene products, preferably in a plant environment with hands-on responsibilities.
3. Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify data inconsistencies, anomalies, issues and patterns for further review, action, and reporting. Considerable attention to detail is required.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, reflecting a strong command of the English language.
5. Ability to work well independently or as a team member and to function effectively within a matrix environment.
6. Eligibility to work in the United States.
