POSITION SUMMARYCoordinate projects involving new construction and alterations of existing facilities. Coordinate space planning and moves within the existing facilities.
DIMENSIONSDevelop approximately 100 projects annually.Communicate the project scope to hospital user groups and coordinate this scope to the architects, engineers, contractors and appropriate code authorities.NATURE AND SCOPEReports to the Director
Facility Support. Interacts with user groups within the Hospital, as well as architects, engineers, consultants and contractors to develop and complete projects within budget. Responsible for complying job specifications and drawings; also, insure timely project start and completion.Analyze and critique cost estimates during preliminary, design development and final construction documents.
Directs and supervises the assistant Project Coordinator and other outside service contracts.
REQUIREMENTS
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a college graduate with a degree in Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or construction Management.
A minimum of 5 years Building Construction or building Maintenance experience, preferably in the Hospital field, is desired.
