Programmer Analyst

Under the direction of the Director of IT/Development, the Programmer Analyst will write and analyze job specifications based on Telematch client requests. In addition, this position will evaluate feasibility, cost and time requirements and assist in designing programs to meet clients' needs. The Programmer Analyst will work with Telematch technical staff, support personnel and systems analysts to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes and determine the extent of programming and coding required. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation of programs, including method of approach to be employed by lower level programmers in fulfilling client needs. Consults with clients to resolve problems and provides technical support.
REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a degree in computer science or related field and 6 -7 years of progressively more complex programming. Experience in a service bureau environment preferred. One to two years previous project management experience preferred.
