Product Consultant-HIM

Primary Purpose
Present and demonstrate HIM solutions to prospective clients, clients, and the consulting community.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Present/demonstrate the assigned product and applications to prospective clients, clients, and the consulting community. Highlight the solutions, features and benefits of the applications and their relevance to the prospect’s business needs.
•Attend tradeshows and demonstrate the products to prospects and clients
•Attend sales meetings as appropriate to provide additional training to sales team on products
•Develop and obtain approval of appropriate presentations to complement the application demonstrations by showing the feature and benefit relationships, and explaining complex system concepts.
•Consult with sales and marketing personnel on issues related to prospect qualification and strategy, as requested
•Prepare responses to prospect and client requests for proposals (RFPs) related to HIM products and its various assigned component applications after completed by sales executive.
•Collaborate with product management/development on application enhancements
•Perform other duties related to marketing department activities as defined by the groups manager.
•Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned

•Requires 100% travel
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Knowledge
•Bachelors degree in related field or professional certification in relevant field is required
•Requires RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS credentials and/or certification
•Knowledge of policies and procedures used in field of applications
•Knowledge of solution selling concepts a plus
•Experience in Microsoft office software and web presentation software a plus

Experience
•Minimum 3 years experience in a health care setting
•Previous HIM health care related computer system marketing, development and/or installation experience is highly desirable
