REQUIREMENTS
Procurement Agent REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years experience in procurement of process equipment and instrumentation, including negotiating terms with vendors/suppliers.Also required:
Bachelor's Degree - in the technical field preferred
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Primavera Expedition
Ability to work individually, or interact effectively with a team
Detail-oriented work ethic
Excellent organizational skills
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Confer with VP of Design and Engineering, Manager of Design/Build and Project Managers on schedules for equipment delivery datesSolicit Requests for Information (RFIs) from vendors and submit to VP of Design and EngineeringAttend meetings regarding RFIs and proposalsGenerate and process purchase orders to procure equipment, based on signed proposalsAdminister submittals and coordinate submittal approvalMaintain purchase order originals in project booksCoordinate delivery schedule of equipmentAdminister RFIs to vendors associated with installation or other submittal issuesSchedule vendor representatives to visit jobsite for start-up of equipmentObtain and organize all field reports/statements of verification for equipment start-up certificationTrack and administer equipment warrantiesAdminister distribution of O&M manualsOther general duties required in the procurement of equipmentPLEASE e-mail resume and SALARY HISTORY to:[Click here for email], REF: PERCPA0806
