Plan Management Resources Analyst
Plan Management Resources Analyst - Responsible for insurance and executive benefit plan administration. Provide various reports required in administering life (corporate owned life insurance, split dollar, second to die) and disability insurance policies, such as cash values, imputed income, benefit changes, death benefit reporting, asset/liability reports, proxy reporting, non-deductible loan interest, reallocation of cash value and/or premium. Audit carrier provided reports and calculations for accuracy. Responsible for the preparation, monitoring and confirmation of various policy transactions including premium billings, loan/withdrawal processing, surrenders, 1035 exchanges, premium suspensions, asset reallocations. Responsible for timely and accurate nonqualified benefit administration. Duties include data processing, reporting and overseeing annual enrollments. Respond to client and participant requests and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
REQUIREMENTS
Participate in and coordinate staff and resources to complete, process, monitor, and expedite all life insurance policy and benefit plan transactions.Run ad hoc insurance illustrations for one off requests and rollout scenarios as well as benefit plan statements.Internal and external data administration.Maintain and enhance positive relationships with clients and carriers as well as with Mullin TBG associates.Generate cash value reports and billing statements in a timely manner, as required by each client.Calculate imputed income on split dollar plans, using methodology appropriate to plan.Respond proactively to ad hoc requests from clients and Mullin TBG management.Document the procedures that are performed for each client.Draft reports, perform analyses, make recommendations, and coordinate with other associates or departments, as required.Coordinate new insurance purchases with internal Mullin TBG departments.Investigate balance calculation and reporting discrepancies.Manage and test the participant and corporate web site functionality.Determine the scope and appropriate response to client and participant requests.Facilitate in the trouble shooting process through collaboration with other departments as necessary to resolve issues.Direct the client system enhancements to include the development or modification of plan reporting, calculation and online access.Participate in departmental developmental processes.
Education, Experience and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in related field.3 – 5 years experience in related area.Strong knowledge of Excel spreadsheet database and Microsoft Word.Ability to manage and prioritize projects.Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and as a team member.Ability to take an active role in problem solving/decision making.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Insurance knowledge or Life Agent licensing a plus.
