Physician Recruiter/Credentialer

Provider Recruiting:
Identify, interview, and hire qualified physician candidates that meet Solantic requirements. Must be expert level in sourcing physicians from networking, internet, referral or other media. Must be adept at developing relationships and networking to successfully maintain a pipeline of providers in the Solantic network. Must be able to negotiate salaries, execute effective telephone and face-to-face interviews, and implement effective recruitment campaigns. May be responsible for assisting in the scheduling of providers in various centers. Must be able to negotiate salaries, execute effective telephone and face-to-face interviews, and implement effective recruitment campaigns. May be responsible for assisting in the scheduling of providers in various centers.

Provider Credentialing:
Asses the completeness of application packets for malpractice applications and managed care credentialing. Maintains credentialing files. Completes data entry as needed for electronic queries of the National Practitioner Data Bank, AMA Physician Profile and Office of Quality Audit and Assessment for practitioners. Performs all required verifications of practitioner credentials. Assists Managed Care Director and W/C Specialist with credentialing activities related to managed care networks as requested.

1. Physician Recruitment
• Must display an aggressive style of leadership in order to seek out the best provider candidates for Solantic.
• Must be a self starter with tremendous initiative and drive
• Identify and implement effective recruitment strategies
• Assess skills and knowledge of provider candidates
• Execute effective interviews
• Meet expected deadlines
• Must be able to craft and follow a formal Provider recruiting plan and calendar.
• Must be a strategic thinker

2. Credentialing
• Collect, track and verify credentials of new physicians
• Assess completeness of applications for malpractice and managed care credentialing
• Maintain licensure database and assist with renewals of all required licenses
