A typical engagement would include conducting an assessment of current state that routinely requires a combination of data collection and analysis as well as planning and executing customer interviews. The majority of the projects also include the documentation of business process including the accurate representation of current state and effectively conceptualization of a future state business process.
The expectation is that all consultants will play a role in the identification of new business opportunities particularly as they relate to the project where the consultant is assigned.
The consultant’s direct interaction with the client will likely vary by project however there is an expectation the consultant can confidently interact with a variety of client representatives involved in the project.
Exceptional client performance is linked to provided high quality deliverables that are linked to the deliverables being comprehensive, demonstrating business insight and being communicated in a manner that is well understood by the client. Exceptional client performance is also linked to effective, professional interactions with the client throughout the course of the project.
There are a number of mechanisms to present ideas and suggestions both a project specific level as well as the identification of new business opportunities. As well there are routine weekly meetings with the Commercial Operations team that will allow for open communication about new ideas and suggestions for improvement.Position-specific Requirements:
A Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial operations (Sales, Marketing and/or Medical Affairs within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device manufacturer. Ideal candidate would have both experience working within the industry and experience as a consultant into the industry. Citizenship or Perm Residency is required.Travel requirement: 80% Ability to travel to project locations without restriction. Expectation is to be at client site 4 days a week minimum.
