Petroleum/Production Engineering Consultant

The Petroleum/Production Engineering Consultant will be required to work as a Product Manager to generate a next generation of Production Optimisation technology.

This position will have primary accountability for lifecycle of products required to enable the DecisionSpace Production product suite.

Responsible for Product definition
• Identification of work-flow and process-flow
• Gather high level customer requirements
• Identify funded development opportunities portfolio
• Custom & funded development sanction
• Product content definition/prioritisation
• Product line roadmap
• Outline value proposition
• Licensing model

Responsible for preparation of Business Plan
• Vision/Strategy for product(s) with input from PE
• Revenue model and justification
• Work with PE to determine full I&M Costs
• Prepare proposed outline pricing plans

Responsible for Resource Allocation/Portfolio Management
• Participate in business line portfolio balancing
• Work with Business and Strategy Manager to determine and communicate appropriate resourcing levels
• Identify products for sun-setting

Responsible for Business management of Products
• Monthly revenue and pipeline review
• Quarterly revenue forecast
• P&L consolidation for product line
• Participation in annual budget planning
• Reporting to monthly business line dashboard
• Business growth opportunities (adjacent markets, land grab, acquisitions)

REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Petroleum/Production Engineering
* 10-15 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry
* Experience in application or development of new technology within Oil & Gas domain.
* Management or Supervisor experience essential.
* Experience of Overseas working desirable
* High level of PC skills.
