Pastoral Counselor

Full Time position available.
Position Summary:Responsible for assessment of patient/ family spiritual and religious needs and coordination of the individualized spiritual plan of care. Provides spiritual and religious care and counseling in accordance with the plan of care. Serves as a resource for the hospice team, organization, and the community regarding spirituality and end of life care.
Recruitment Requirements:
Masters degree in theology, pastoral counseling, or related field
Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology

Certification in hospital or pastoral ministry or related field
Ability to provide nondenominational spiritual care to patients/ families from varied religious backgrounds

Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team

One year working in pastoral counseling or related field required

One year working with terminally ill patients preferred
