PROGRAM ASSOCIATES
Provides prof dev & other ser-
vices to K-12 math & science
teachers. Duties incl'd plan-
ning/ conducting prof dev
wrkshps for K-12 teachers &
school admin.; as well as pro-
viding in-school support for
curriculum implementation.
Bachelors in math, science, or
education req'd; Masters
pref'd. Exp. teaching K-12
math or science & understand-
ing of standards-based math &
science instruction desirable.

PROJECT COORDINATORS
Provide admin. support of
grant-funded projects. Duties
incl'd project budgets & finan-
cial transactions; coordinating
wrkshps; communicating
w/funding agencies, schools, &
UIC admin; as well as maintain-
ing project records & research
data. Bachelors & good comm.
skills req. Prev. exp. w/proj
coordination pref'd.

Positions anticipated on grant-
funded projects in K-12 math &
science edu beginning as early
as 11/1/06. Positions are
dependent upon availability of
