PENSION SPECIALIST

Benefit Partners, Inc. (BP) is a full-service benefits, outsourcing, and, HR consulting firm located in Dallas, Texas. We are currently looking for several qualified temporary Pension Specialists to provide analysis and support during a client's special pension election period. The executive level employees of one of BP's clients will be electing their pension benefits based upon variable criteria, with the assistance of our Pension Specialists. The timetable for this temporary project is October through the middle of December, 2006.

The Pension Specialists will be:
-Taking calls from executive level employees who will be making
pension selections.
-Reading and extracting material from pension documents relative to
pension parameters and calculations.
-Utilizing an interactive web based modeling program to perform
calculations.
-Analyzing data and making calculations to be able to separate
qualified and non-qualified benefits.
-Running projections for estimated retirement data to determine
payment options.
-Recording calls in a telephone database.

REQUIREMENTS
The Pension Specialists must be able to:
-Work in a service-call center environment.
-Have the ability to consider tax ramifications of pension
calculations.
-Read and understand pension plan documents.
-Have a college degree (any discipline - financial or HR preferred).
-Employee benefits background with emphasis on defined
benefits/pension plans.
-Actuarial experience or superior math skills to be able to perform
pension calculations.
