Expert problem-solver. Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions.
Dedicated to exceeding quality standards and providing products and services of the highest caliber.
Extensive knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Extensive experience in system administration, including system maintenance, workstation support, Internet connectivity, security services, load monitoring, and back-up procedures.
Skillfully synthesizes large quantities of complex information under pressure. Distills it to the most critical issues and draws accurate conclusions, taking into account a high degree of uncertainty.
Expert at analyzing complex functions, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical, and effective solutions.
Extensive working knowledge of operating systems and platforms to include LANs, software and hardware, programming techniques and database technologies.
Advanced Windows 95/98 user and setup skills.
Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
All the time: 24 x 7 x 365 uptime requirements.
Available to work after hours, weekends, and as required.
Experience in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, servers, workstations, operating systems, and applications.
Extensive experience troubleshooting network clients and servers.
Preferred

Experience relaying sensitive information to appropriate parties. Keeps clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports updated based on their information needs.
Experience developing and implementing strategies for managing security roles, privileges, and authentication for large user populations.
Broad experience writing hardware specifications.
Experience with SMTP, IMAP, and POP3. Diagnoses and resolves problems associated with cross-platform mail. Performs standard mail migrations and monitors mail gateways and directory exchange functions.
Optimizes network design and ensures efficient and secure operation of all network systems. Expert-level WAN and traffic engineering experience.
Extensive experience with network maintenance including security services, load monitoring, system resiliency, back-up, and restore.
Mastery of advanced performance tuning and capacity management concepts.
Multi-protocol network engineering experience. Knowledge of LAN/WAN internetworking principles and protocols including TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, SONET, VLAN, ATM, Frame Relay, and PPP.
Demonstrated experience in the design and monitoring of security for complex networks. Proven implementation of technically sound policies for secure usage, application development, and host design.
Background includes firewalls, anti-virus, encryption algorithms, security protocols, and monitoring tools.
