An industry leader in the distribution of pipes valves and fittings for the municipal and site utility construction industry seeks the following:
an outstanding Sales Representative for the Terre Haute, Indiana market
The role of the Territory Manager is to manage and maintain existing client accounts to ensure customer retention, loyalty and account profitability. This position will be responsible for:
maintaining the budget of the existing client accounts assigned to them.
The AE will act as the primary point of contact for our clients and for other internal business units or departments that may interact with the client, as well as identifying revenue growth opportunities
Qualified candidates must have
prior account management experience and proven, demonstrated success in strategic relationship management.

Experience leading others, managing receivables, keeping a positive attitude, and building relationships are all desired traits.
BS Degree is preferred
• Relationship Building - responsible for developing strong relationships with clients by researching and understanding their business needs, responding quickly and effectively to client concerns and problems, and acting as the liaison between the client and internal departments
• Strategic Account Planning - responsible for identifying potential growth (cross-sell) opportunities within an account and bringing in the appropriate sales resources to drive opportunities. Must have experience creating formal account plans for assigned accounts, and bringing together the necessary resources to implement the plans.
• Internal Relationships/Coordination – responsible for building strong internal relationships and possessing an in-depth understanding of the company structure and resources
• Business/Financial Acumen - Able to explain the financial impact of decisions to customers and uses financial tools to achieve business objectives and to quantify the costs, benefits and risks of sales strategies.
Required Education/Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of a year sales experience with proven account growth success
• Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive market
• Demonstrates effective, articulate and professional communication and advanced presentation skills
• Ability to interact with high levels of an organization
• Ability to travel
• Experience in direct marketing industry preferred
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN OUTSIDE SALES POSITION WITH TRAVEL UP TO 90 MILES FROM YOUR HOMEBASE REQUIRED
