We are looking for Oracle Developers with experience in supporting Retek RMS application. The candidate must have experience with writing stored procedure and batch procession using Pro*C. Successful candidate will be responsible in writing Unix shell Scripts.

Performs a senior technical role in the development and support of Retek Merchandising System and Retek Allocations.

Performs a senior role in the development and support of large/complex solutions, or several small solutions. Since this is a support position the daily tasks are dynamic. Must have demonstrated ability to quickly assess business impact of production issues, troubleshoot and provide resolution or workaround. This position requires little or no direction. Must have strong technical expertise and ability to provide scoping, estimating, planning, design, development, and support services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Can perform independently and guide, assist or mentor others in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing a large/complex or several smaller solutions
·Provide prioritization, planning, estimating, quality assurance and mentoring at any stage of a project/fix.
·Responsible for communicating to management on status, problems, issues and underlying process problems
·Identify and develop the solution design
·Document and present solution alternatives, which support business processes and business objectives
·Track progress and intervene as needed to eliminate barriers and ensure delivery
·Demonstrate anticipation and initiative in the planning for and management of problems
·Resolve or escalate problems, and manage risk for both development and production support
·Can review the technical work of other team members
·Ensure IT standards and methods are adhered to
·Maintain deep knowledge and awareness of technical & industry best practices and trends, especially in technology & methodologies
·Ensure that good business relationships are maintained with multiple clients and other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS
·BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
·4 or more years experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, installing and maintaining complex software programs.
·At least 2 years of experience with Retek RMS
·Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
·Strong interpersonal skills.
·Strong planning and organizational skills.
·Considerable business knowledge, preferably in the retail industry.
·Technical expertise in required fields, e.g., data analysis, data design, system design, enterprise application integration, software testing, documentation.
·Development experience in a UNIX/Oracle environment required.
·Experience with Data Wareshouse and ETL Tools highly desired.
·SQL programming experience highly desired.
·Has strong technical expertise in Pro*C, Unix, Shell, Java, PL/SQL and Oracle Forms.
·Responsibilities include technical design, development and support services to assigned projects and production systems.
