Oracle ERP Consultant

Purpose: The largest wireless company nationwide is looking for an Oracle ERP Consultant.

This person will become the SME for Oracle Supply Chain Financials Oracle 11i PO/WIP/BOM/Workflow as the Production Support Specialist. This person will be responsible or 24/7 support if necessary, acting as the leader and Operations specialist. Support the Oracle ERP Production Environment for Oracle Workflow, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle BOM and Oracle WIP Modules which includes the following tasks: Ensure the smooth fulfillment of the Purchase Orders through Oracle ERP Purchasing application, within the SLAs, by monitoring the Oracle WorkFlow. Monitor the inbound and outbound custom interfaces from/to other third party applications and ensure the PO, BOM and WIP Data are successfully processed. Monitor, trace and escalate the standard and custom application bugs and performance issues of all the PO, BOM and WIP batch jobs to the respective groups for further actions and follow up Resolve PO/BOM/WIP/WF-related problem tickets in Production, raised by Business Users, via Remedy/E-mails. Work with key members of various departments and other members of the IT team to identify and resolve application issues. Participate in ongoing development efforts and implementations Provide status reports and metrics data on a daily/weekly basis.

Technical skills essential for this assignment: (Prioritize importance most to least)

6 years minimum Oracle Supply Chain / Financials experience required, with at least 4 years of Oracle 11i experience in PO/WIP/BOM/WF; Strong SQL scripting skills required Strong shell scripting skills required; Working knowledge of PL/SQL; Strong understanding of the Oracle Supply
Chain/Financials schema required; 4+ yrs. Operations experience (24/7 on-call support) Extreme initiative and sense of urgency required. Be customer focused; Strong Written and oral communication skills Have strong task-management skills, multi-tasking abilities are a must;Strong interpersonal skills a must; Consulting background, Project management experience, SDLC and change management experience a strong plus.
