OracleDirect Applications Sales is the inside sales business unit which sells the Oracle's applications product set. The OracleDirect division manages sales opportunities independently and in conjunction with Oracle Field Sales. Applications Sales Consultants support and enable applications sales representatives to achieve their sales and operational goals.



Brief Job Post Description


An Applications Sales Consultant (ASC) owns the technical relationship with the customer and is responsible for ensuring that Oracle wins product evaluations. An ASC is expected to develop specific areas of expertise in addition to maintaining broad product skills. For this open position we are seeking an experienced Oracle or Peoplesoft sales consultant with expertise in Financials, Supply Chain or HRMS applications. Candidates with comparable experience with other ERP packages are encouraged to apply as well.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Job Requirements

Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. Prefer a minimum of 5 years vendor sales consulting experience. with relevant business applications and reporting tools. Demonstrated proficiency in at least one multi-user ERP package. Thorough knowledge of system and application business process design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. No business travel is required. BS or MS in Accounting, Business, Engineering or Computer Science required.
Detailed Job Description

As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for the Oracle sales force who develops and delivers high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
