Operations and Maintenance Engineer

PARSONS, one of the world's largest engineering/construction firms, has an immediate opening for an Operations and Maintenance Engineer in our Washington, DC.JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelops, coordinates, and assists in the publication and implemen¬tation of design standards that relate to efficient and economic operation of airport installed facility equipment and utility systems.Coordinates start up and de bug tests and activities.Insures adequacy of O&M manuals and procedures provided by construction contractors.Assists in the development of the Value Engineering program and evaluation of Value Engineering proposals.JOB QUALIFICATIONSA B.S. in engineering or architecture is required.Five years experience in facility maintenance management, design, or construction is required with two of the five years in facility maintenance management.Additional RequirementsDemonstrated success on the job as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of respon¬sibility, and growth in previous positionEffective oral and written communication skillsOne year of experience in developing, managing, or contributing to a Value Engineering program is preferred.Licensure as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer is required.EOE/M/F/D/V.
